Mystic Diversions/Francesko are actually nom de plumes for Italian pop star Mike Francis, who was a regular visitor to the top of the charts in the 1980's in his native Italy and abroad, conquering the European charts with songs like "Survivor" and "Friends". In this guise, Francis is very much the ambient artiste. "From The Distance" is a dreamlike album carrying the typical "Mike Francis" brand, where he shows courage and strength by experimenting successfully daring combinations of song styles. These 15 tracks are delicate and meditative ambient music mixed in a unique sound flow without rules, a music made for daydreaming, inspired by nature and sustained by a powerful desire to protect its elements.
